"La Reserva 2018 (Quinta dos Aciprestes) is a 60/40 blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca aged for 12 months in 50% new French oak. It comes at 14.5% alcohol. What do you get when trading from the regular Tinto? That answer is simple at first: a lot more power, a little more concentration. It's less fruity up front (not that the regular Tinto lacks structure) and more grip on the finish. It will also need a year or two in the cellar, whereas this is just suggested with the regular Tinto. This looks very nice, and is a good value. It should prove its case in a year or two."
